GIRLS LACROSSE

Arrowhead Youth Lacrosse's purpose is to provide a safe, secure and supportive environment for student athletes to enjoy and learn the game of lacrosse.

Who Can Register?

Girls with birth year 2009-2017. In accordance with Milwaukee Area Youth Lacrosse Association (MAYLA), registration for youth lacrosse is dependent on school enrollment. Players must be enrolled in a feeder school district for Arrowhead High School. These school district are as follows:

  • Hartlake School District
  • Lake Country School
  • Merton School District
  • North Lake School District
  • Richmond Elementary
  • Stone Bank School
  • Swallow School
  • CELA School
  • Divine Redeemer School
  • Pewaukee
  • St Charles
  • Players must play for their assigned program unless: (1) released, in writing, by a representative of their assigned MAYLA member club; and (2) accepted in writing by an alternative MAYLA member club.

What Will It Cost To Play?

USA Lacrosse Registration

$30 annual US Lacrosse membership must be purchased through US Lacrosse. Membership cannot expire during the season.

Team Prices

Little Scoopers (1st/2nd Grade) $0

Bantams (3rd/4th Grade) $350

Juniors (5th/6th Grade) $350

Seniors (7th/8th Grade) $350

Registrations completed after January 15th will be subject to an additional $150 late feel above what is listed (Little Scoopers is exempt)


Uniforms & Practice Pinnies

Little Scoopers are provided a pinnie at no cost; Bantam game uniforms are loaned out to each player (practice pinnies need to be purchased); Juniors and Seniors buy uniforms and practice pinnies.


Volunteer Fee

Each family is REQUIRED to work at least 3 volunteer hours with a max of 5 hours for families with multiple players. If the volunteer hours are not completed at the end of the season, the family will be charged the volunteer fee. Families may opt out and pay the volunteer fee of $300 at registration.


Tournaments

All girls teams (except Little Scoopers) have been registered for the Badger Spring Invite. This is a one day event on April 13th in Wisconsin Dells. Teams will play 3 games. Cost is included in the registration fee.

Teams may have the option to play in-season tournaments as well. Coaches will communicate dates and times.


Ages

Players can begin from the age of 7 and play through age of 14

When

Outdoor practices begin in the first week of April and your season runs until early June. Preseason sessions are on Sundays at NX Level starting February 25 - March 17th. Games start mid-April.

Where

Practice location is TBD.

Home games are played at Centennial Park in Hartland.

Practices

Little Scooper practices will be once a week, in the early evening (dates and times TBD)

Bantam, Junior & Senior practices will be twice a week, in the early evening (dates and times TBD)


Games

Games are normally scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays (except for Mother's Day and Memorial Day weekend).

Saturday games are historically scheduled for the morning to early afternoon

Sunday games are historically scheduled for the late morning to afternoon

Certified Protective Eyewear

Mouthguard (any color except white or clear so that ref can see it)
